Refund and Cancellation Policy

At PHILinspect Property Inspection Services, we strive to provide high-quality services and products. Our policies are designed to be fair to both the consumer and the business, in accordance with the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394).
Valid Grounds for Refunds
You are entitled to a refund if:
PHILinspect may grant a repair, re-inspection, or refund only if the inspection service was not performed due to company fault, if there is a verified reporting or billing error, or if the wrong service was delivered compared to the confirmed quotation.
Disagreement with inspection findings, hidden defects beyond visual scope, post-inspection damages, or client change of mind are not valid grounds for refund.
Cancellation fees apply depending on the notice period provided prior to the scheduled inspection date.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing within seven (7) days from the inspection date and are subject to management review and approval.
Approved liability, if any, shall not exceed the total inspection fee paid.
Cancellation of Inspection Services
Since our services involve scheduling professional inspectors, the following cancellation fees apply:
More than 24 hours notice: Full refund of any deposit/prepayment.
24 hours notice: A cancellation fee of 20% will be deducted.
Less than 24 hours or "No-Show": The deposit or 50% of the total fee shall be forfeited to cover mobilization costs.
Refund Process
Proof of Engagement: A valid Official Receipt (OR), Sales Invoice (SI), or confirmed Service Agreement must be presented as proof of availed inspection service.
Service Review and Verification: The request shall undergo internal review, including report validation and operational assessment, to determine whether the issue resulted from company fault or administrative error.
Written Request Requirement: All refund requests must be submitted in writing within seven (7) calendar days from the inspection date, clearly stating the reason for the claim.
Mode of Refund: Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method (e.g., GCash, bank transfer) within seven (7) business days from final approval.
